Irkutsk National Research Technical University (INRTU) inherits the finest traditions of Russia’s national engineering and technical education, owning strong comprehensive strength in education, scientific research and innovation. It is one of the 46 Russian universities awarded grants under Russia’s Priority 2030 Program.

学校学科门类齐全，开设本科、硕士、博士研究生以及非学位短期课程多层次项目。英文授课专业覆盖人工智能与计算机科学、大数据分析、可再生能源、生态绿色技术、国际商务等热门方向；俄语授课涵盖机械工程、机电一体化、矿业工程、电力工程、建筑土木、冶金、航空工程等传统优势工科，同时设有经济、语言传媒、设计艺术等人文商科专业，还与山东大学、满洲里俄语职业学院、北京外国语大学等国内高校开展双学位、联合办学项目。

The university offers a complete range of academic programs at Bachelor’s, Master’s, Postgraduate and non-degree short-term levels. It provides numerous English-taught programs including Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, Big Data Analytics, Renewable Energy, Ecology & Green Technologies, International Business and other popular majors. Its Russian-taught programs cover traditional superior engineering fields such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, mining engineering, electrical power engineering, civil engineering, metallurgy and aircraft engineering, as well as humanities and business majors like economics, linguistics, media and design. INRTU has launched double-degree and joint education programs with Chinese universities including Shandong University, Manchurian Institute of Russian Language and Beijing Foreign Studies University.

With distinctive international education features, INRTU sets up the Admission Office and International Students Support Center. It offers Russian language preparatory courses, Russian governmental scholarships, tuition discounts, student transfer services and full support for visa application and campus accommodation.
