From News Center (Text by Liang Yanying, School of International Education; Photos by MIS School in Hanoi, Vietnam) “The AI training facilities are incredibly advanced!” “This is my first time interacting with robots—it’s amazing!” “We’ve gained so much from this exchange; the trip has been well worthwhile!” On the morning of June 15, a 69-member delegation from MIS School in Hanoi, Vietnam, visited LZPU for a tour and exchange. The group experienced the university’s achievements in modern vocational education in an immersive way and repeatedly praised its advanced AI training resources and high level of internationalization.
Members of the visiting delegation toured several campus facilities, including the Industrial Robot Training Center, the UAV Exhibition Hall and the AI Industry College. At the university’s AI training site, Vietnamese teachers and students observed the operation of intelligent equipment and practical training procedures for AI technology applications up close. They also learned about LZPU’s distinctive achievements in AI talent cultivation, practical training and teaching, and industry-education integration.
At the forum, Wei Linhua, Director of the International Exchange Department of LZPU, gave a detailed introduction to the university’s educational characteristics and achievements in international cooperation in recent years. Mr. Hoang Van Luoc, Chairman of MIS School, said that the school is a K-12 institution covering primary, middle and high school levels. It has long attached great importance to Chinese language teaching, and its students have won numerous awards in international competitions. Mr. Hoang expressed his hope to recommend students from his school to participate in joint training programs hosted by LZPU, such as the “1+1+1” and “2+1+1” programs, in the future.
This exchange activity further consolidated the foundation of friendly cooperation between LZPU and Vietnamese educational institutions, and effectively deepened mutual trust and consensus on cooperation in education between the two sides. In recent years, LZPU has launched the LiuGong-LZPU International Craftsman College of Vietnam, and co-built the Luban Workshop in Vietnam together with Hanoi College of Electromechanics (HCEM) and LiuGong. The university regularly carries out cross-border teacher training and two-way exchanges for teachers and students. To date, it has delivered special training on livestreaming e-commerce for 12 participants from Vietnamese institutions, hosted 11 Vietnamese professional teachers for further studies in China, and organized two batches of cross-border cultural exchange activities involving a total of 42 Chinese and Vietnamese teachers and students. LZPU continues to facilitate the sharing of vocational education resources, integrated teaching and joint talent cultivation between China and Vietnam.
In the future, LZPU will further deepen coordination and cooperation with Vietnamese partner institutions and Chinese-funded enterprises in Vietnam. It will steadily advance key initiatives including enrollment for cross-border tailored classes, two-way student exchanges, and co-development of professional courses, injecting sustained momentum from vocational education into the coordinated upgrading of China-Vietnam industrial chains, bilateral economic, trade and cultural exchanges, and people-to-people bonds between the two countries.
