LZPU Students Secure First Prizes in the Guangxi Regional Finals of the 16th "SanChuang" Competition

In the Business Big Data Analysis track, first-year Cross-Border E-Commerce students from the School of Trade and Tourism Management at LZPU made an outstanding debut, shining in their very first competition. Under the guidance of instructors Zhang Bei, Qin Qiaoling, Wei Xiaoxia, Liu Yihong, and Wang Xiaojuan, the students competed against teams from across the region, ultimately clinching two first prizes and two second prizes at the autonomous region level.
The competition is organized by the Ministry of Education's Teaching Guidance Committee for E-Commerce Programs in Higher Education. It is one of the 84 national-level academic competitions for college students recognized by the Ministry of Education and a top-tier provincial event endorsed by the Department of Education of Guangxi, underscoring its high prestige and academic value. This year's event attracted widespread participation from universities across the region, including many teams of doctoral and master's students. The high level of competition placed significant demands on the participants' professional expertise and practical skills.
The Business Big Data Analysis track is a core component of the 16th National E-commerce "Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship" Competition for College Students, established to support the national strategy for digital talent cultivation and the needs of the digital economy. By leveraging an official platform to integrate resources from government, industry, university, research, and application, the competition has built a "production-education integration" collaborative mechanism. It focuses on assessing core competencies such as big data analysis, data visualization, and business problem-solving to cultivate versatile e-commerce professionals with data-driven mindsets and practical skills. Guided by the principles of "academic leadership, integration of knowledge and practice, bold innovation, and staying at the forefront," the competition uses real-world industry scenarios and open-ended challenges to provide a highly specialized and practical experience.
During the competition, the teams remained composed, leveraging their solid professional knowledge and rigorous data analysis to stand out among strong competitors and secure multiple awards. This achievement demonstrates the quality of teaching and talent development at LZPU, reflecting our philosophy of promoting learning, practice, and innovation through competitions.
