On the afternoon of June 5, the closing and awards ceremony for LZPU's inaugural "Youth Football Cup" University Football League took place at the Shewan Campus track and field stadium. Liu Zilin, Secretary of the CPC LZPU Committee, and Qiu Fuming, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC LZPU Committee and Vice President of LZPU, attended the closing ceremony. Heads of relevant functional departments and various schools, representatives of athletes, referees, teachers, and students also participated in the event.

During the ceremony, Liu Zilin presented trophies and medals to the champions, while Qiu Fuming honored the runners-up and third-place finishers. With all awards presented, LZPU's inaugural "Youth Football Cup" University Football League came to a successful conclusion.

Since its inception, the league has garnered strong support and active collaboration from various functional departments and secondary schools, receiving an enthusiastic response from faculty and students alike. On the pitch, teams competed fiercely with seamless teamwork; thrilling matches ignited a passion for sports, inspiring students to put down their phones and head to the green pitch. Off the pitch, referees were dedicated, while staff and volunteers ensured smooth operations, creating a sportsmanlike, orderly, and progressive competition atmosphere. Following intense competition, the School of International Education emerged as champions, with the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the School of Automotive Engineering securing second and third place, respectively.

Physical education is vital for building fitness, molding character, and strengthening willpower. The inaugural "Youth Football Cup" serves as a vivid embodiment of LZPU's commitment to comprehensive "Five-Sphere Education" (moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor) and the philosophy of "strengthening the mind and nurturing the person through sports." It is a significant initiative to enrich campus culture, integrate sports with academics, and promote well-rounded student development. The event further fostered a campus atmosphere that encourages a love for sports, guiding students to build physical strength, cultivate character, and foster friendships through athletic competition.

Although the first "Youth Football Cup" has concluded, the spirit of youthful determination lives on. LZPU will use this league to continue promoting campus football and enriching sports culture, guiding students to apply the spirit of perseverance and teamwork to their academic lives. This will infuse youthful energy into the development of high-quality technical professionals who are well-rounded in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education.
