Good News: Two Achievements of LZPU Selected as Typical AI Application Cases by the Ministry of Education
From News Center (Text and photos by Shi Qi, School of Electronic Information Engineering) On March 30, 2026, the case Fundamentals of AI Applications, submitted by the AI General Course team led by Prof. Meng Biao from the School of Electronic Information Engineering, was selected as an Outstanding Typical Case of AI General Course by the Ministry of Education. Meanwhile, the case Multilingual Education and Training Intelligent Agent for ASEAN, submitted by the enterprise project delivery team led by Prof. Jiang Wensheng, was included in the list of Outstanding Typical Cases of AI Application Scenarios issued by the Ministry of Education. The successful selection of these two typical cases demonstrates LZPU's outstanding achievements and innovative strength in integrating AI into education and teaching.
The two achievements represent a major outcome for the School of Electronic Information Engineering in implementing the university's efforts to deepen industry-education integration and advance teaching reform and innovation. It also serves as a vivid practice in continuously promoting the "National Top-notch Vocational Institutions and Programs Plan" construction and focusing on the development direction of "digital and intelligent empowering vocational education". Over a long period, the school has been grounded in the needs of regional industrial development, centered on cultivating high-quality technical and skilled personnel, and actively exploring paths for the in-depth integration of AI into education, teaching, and industrial development, to continuously enhance the connotation of school-running and the quality of talent cultivation.
