Educational Objectives

This program aims to cultivate high-level technical professionals equipped to meet the needs of application development in the automotive manufacturing industry. Students will master the fundamental theories of both traditional and new energy vehicle technologies, and acquire technical knowledge in complete vehicle and component development, manufacturing process design and improvement, and automotive testing technology. Graduates will be fully capable of engaging in the design of complete vehicles and components, manufacturing process development, quality inspection, and testing across the fields of automotive R&D, design, prototyping, manufacturing, and testing.

Career Prospects

Graduates may pursue careers as automotive design engineers, quality control engineers, and automotive test engineers in automotive manufacturing and R&D companies, or pursue further education through associate-to-bachelor degree top-up programs. Future career paths include chief engineer of new energy systems, senior engineer of final assembly/processes/quality, and automotive testing and validation specialist.

Co-constructed Industry Institutes: In partnership with SGMW Automobile Co., Ltd., we have jointly established the Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Institute, the SGMW Intelligent Vehicles Training Center, and the SGMW Global Service Training Center. In collaboration with SAIC Volkswagen Automotive Sales Co., Ltd., we have co-established the SAIC Volkswagen Guangxi Training Center.

Co-established Off-Campus Internship and Training Bases: SGMW Automobile Co., Ltd. Training Base, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Testing Technology Center, etc.

Training and Laboratory Facilities

Facilities: 16 training rooms covering a total area of 2,500 square meters, with 120 sets of equipment and instruments valued at a total of RMB 15 million.

Completed Facilities: SGMW Global Service Training Center, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor-LZPU Industry-Education Integration Base, and SAIC Volkswagen Guangxi Training Center.
