LZPU Welcomes Leaders from Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs
From News Center (Text by Zhang Huimin from the International Exchange Department; Photos by Guo Xinyuan from the Publicity Department of the CPC LZPU Committee)On the morning of May 12, 2025, Katiman, Assistant Deputy Minister for Research, Technology and Industrial Cooperation at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs of Indonesia, and Achmad Gunawan, Senior Policy Analyst, visited Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU) and had in-depth exchanges with LZPU on a number of vocational education cooperation projects and collaborative development and cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence. LZPU President Gan Jinming, Vice President Qu Fan and leaders of relevant departments attended the symposium.

Gan Jinming extended a warm welcome to the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry on its second visit. He provided a comprehensive introduction to LZPU's history and achievements in industry-education integration, as well as the outcomes of its international collaborations and exchanges with ASEAN. Katiman, Assistant Deputy Minister of the Coordinating Ministry of Indonesia, congratulated LZPU on its achievements and said that he was deeply impressed by the in-depth school-enterprise cooperation model of LZPU. He hoped to further learn and understand China's policies and mechanisms for promoting industry-education integration in running schools.

At the symposium, the two sides discussed in depth how to solve the problems existing in China-Indonesia vocational education cooperation, and studied in depth the details of the ICVEEP program and the "1+10+100+1,000" China-Indonesia TVET cooperation program. Focusing on artificial intelligence, LZPU has proposed new cooperation programs, including co-building an AI college and an AI R&D center, which have aroused the interest of Indonesian guests. Katiman said that AI and digital education are among the key priorities for the Indonesian President and the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs. He expressed hope for accelerating cooperation with LZPU and emphasized that the Coordinating Ministry will remain committed to supporting and monitoring the implementation of these programs.
