The teams of teachers and students from Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU) achieved remarkable success, winning 13 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 20 bronze medals. The number of gold medals won places LZPU among the top-ranking higher vocational colleges in the entire region, with a projected qualification for 10 events in the 2025 World Vocational College Skills Competition.

The Guangxi Vocational College Skills Competition, hosted by the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is an event for vocational colleges in the region. It boasts the widest coverage of majors, the highest number of participants, and the greatest social impact. This year, LZPU participated in 41 competition events, with 239 students competing under the guidance of 122 instructors. In the face of various challenges, such as the reformed competition system introduced in 2025 and the limited preparation time, LZPU leaders actively immersed themselves at the forefront, offering hands-on guidance, overseeing preparation efforts, and addressing various problems that arose. Competition teams from each school of LZPU meticulously prepared for the competition, demonstrated proactive initiative, and ultimately achieved excellent results.

In recent years, LZPU has actively built platforms for students to display their professional abilities, fostered a learning atmosphere where "everyone strives to be a skilled expert", and developed an innovative talent cultivation model that "leverages competitions to enhance teaching and learning". Its students have achieved remarkable results in skills competitions. Students who have refined their skills through competitions exhibit high overall competence and strong practical abilities, earning widespread recognition from employers. LZPU has been honored with the title of "Outstanding Institution for the Employment and Entrepreneurship of Ordinary College Graduates in Guangxi" for 24 consecutive years.
